PLAYER COMMITMENTS HIGHLIGHTED BY UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA AND OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY ALUMNI

NORMAN, Okla. – Tournament officials today announced that the Compliance Solutions Championship has accepted commitments from University of Oklahoma alums Logan McAllister, Quade Cummins and Patrick Welch in addition to Oklahoma State University alums Kris Ventura, Morgan Hoffman and Bo Van Pelt.

The Compliance Solutions Championship is June 17-23 at Jimmie Austin Golf Club in Norman, Okla. The final field will be announced on Monday, June 17, following the conclusion of the tournament’s off-site Monday Qualifier at The Territory Golf Club and Winter Creek Golf Club.

McAllister, 24, rounded out his collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma in 2022 ranked third in the PGA TOUR University ranking, earning him status on the Korn Ferry Tour. The two-time All-American has finished in the top 25 eleven times since turning professional in 2022, with his best finish being a solo second at the 2023 LECOM Suncoast Classic. A native of Oklahoma City, McAllister is currently ranked 84th in the Korn Ferry Tour Points List.

Cummins, 28, played collegiately for six seasons at the University of Oklahoma (2015-21), where he was OU’s first four-time All-American. The 2021 graduate was a member of both the 2020 U.S. Palmer Cup Team and the 2021 U.S. Walker Cup Team. Since turning professional in 2021, the Weatherford, Okla. native has played in 60 Korn Ferry Tour events and has finished in the top 10 five times this season. Cummins is currently ranked No. 7 in the Korn Ferry Tour Points List.

Welch, 24, is in his second season on the Korn Ferry Tour after graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2023 where he finished No. 8 in the PGA TOUR University Rankings to earn him conditional membership. Welch has finished in the top 25 five times, highlighted by a T3 finish at the Magnit Championship in 2023. During his time at the University of Oklahoma, Welch captured individual victories at the 2020 East Lake Cup and the 2022 Southern Highlands Collegiate. The California native was only the second player in Sooner men’s golf history to be a four-time All American honoree.

Ventura, 29, is a two-time Korn Ferry Tour winner, having collected victories at the 2019 Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Chevrolet and the 2019 Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank. The Oklahoma State University alum secured his best result this season when he finished second in a playoff at the 117 Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro and is currently ranked 14th in the Korn Ferry Tour Points List. During his time at OSU, Ventura was a member of the winning 2018 NCAA National Championship team.

Hoffmann, 34, has been on the professional golf circuit since 2011, with his best result coming in 2017 with a runner up finish at the PGA TOUR’s Honda Classic. Following his diagnosis with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, Hoffmann launched the Morgan Hoffmann Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for muscular dystrophy and improving the physical and mental wellness of those in the fight against neuromuscular diseases. In 2020, he was named the recipient of the PGA TOUR Courage Award. The former Oklahoma State University golfer is currently ranked 98th in the Korn Ferry Tour Points List.

Van Pelt, 49, has collected victories on numerous tours since turning professional in 1998, including the 2009 U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee on the PGA TOUR, the 2003 Omaha Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour as well as two international wins. He has totaled 53 PGA TOUR top-10 finishes, to go with 15 on the Korn Ferry Tour. In his time at Oklahoma State University, Van Pelt was a three-time letterwinner (1995-98), winning three times, including the 1997 NCAA Central Regional, in addition to garnering an All-America First Team selection in 1997 and All-Big 12 Conference selections in 1997 and 1998.
