Admissions: Responsible for scanning all tickets and credentials, assisting with walk-up sales, and managing will-call. Volunteers also support as Tournament Ambassadors, being the ‘first impression’ and greeting guests at the main entrance. (Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
Caddie Registration & Services: This group serves as the point of contact for caddies. This committee registers all caddies and provides information and materials for the course. In addition, this group collects and washes Caddie Bibs following play on Friday and Sunday. The Caddie Master, who leads Caddie Services, recruits and organizes local caddies as required for players without a caddie. (Shifts Monday-Sunday)
Corporate Hospitality: Responsible for checking credentials and monitoring access into various course locations including VIP hospitality, clubhouse, and others around the course. This is an important role in being ambassadors for the event and providing customer service to the tournament patrons. (Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
Course Set-Up/Teardown: Responsible for assisting with scoreboard set-up/teardown, placing coolers on tee boxes, and other tasks related to the setup and teardown of the tournament. (Shifts will be the week before and after tournament)
Courtesy Cars: Volunteers will drive shuttle vehicles to and from airports, hotels and course for players. You will not be driving your own vehicle. Must have a valid driver's license and be 25 years of age or older. (Shifts for this committee will start the week before the tournament and will continue through the Monday following the event)
Fan Zone: The Fan Zone supports various activities for children. Duties include directing and overseeing the various activities, keeping the participants safe, and directing the children to each station. (Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
Golf Channel Spotters: This is a group of 8 volunteers that are out on the golf course with assigned groups during Golf Channel Coverage. A thorough knowledge of golf is necessary for this position. Each volunteer is carrying a radio and is connected with the Golf Channel Production Studio in St. Augustine, Florida, answering questions in support of the Golf Channel coverage.(Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
Marshals: Responsible for the safe and easy access from hole to hole for players and caddies. Marshals also ensure proper spectator conduct by signaling ‘quiet’ as players begin to play, spot balls in the fairway/rough, and manage a specific hole. Marshals are assigned to all 18 holes and each hole has multiple volunteers. (Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
On-Course Player Shuttles:Volunteers in this committee are responsible for driving shuttle carts throughout the course to assist players on an assigned route. (Shifts Monday-Sunday)
Player Registration & Services:Volunteers in this committee are responsible for Player Registration and player services including ticket requests, information table, package distribution, etc. (Shifts Monday-Sunday)
Practice Facilities:Volunteers in this committee will be asked to help with a variety of tasks including not limited to: the set-up and maintenance of the practice area (driving range, chipping area, and practice green) for players by stocking and distributing practice balls. Additionally, volunteers will provide gallery control of the practice area and regulate access to appropriate individuals. (Shifts Monday-Sunday)
Product Distribution: Volunteers in this committee are responsible for delivering and stocking ice, water, and product in all tee boxes for pro-am participants, players, and caddies. (Shifts Monday-Sunday)
Shotlink Greenside Operators:Volunteers in this committee will manage greenside scoring equipment to provide enhanced accuracy to Shotlink. Volunteers will be stationed at each of the 18 greens. It is recommended that volunteers in this committee have a general golf scoring knowledge and are comfortable with basic technology.(Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
Special Events Monday – Wednesday: Volunteers in this committee are responsible for helping the tournament staff set-up and execute the Wednesday Pro-Am's including the Tuesday night Pairings Party. Volunteers are also responsible for helping with the Monday Junior Clinic. (Shifts Monday-Wednesday)
Spectator Shuttles: Volunteers in this committee are responsible for driving shuttle carts throughout the course to assist spectators on an assigned route. (Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
Standard Bearers: Volunteers in this committee are responsible for walking all 18 holes with a specific group. Standard Bearers carry a sign that displays the scores and edit the display as scores change for players within the group. Requirements include the ability to walk 18 holes and carry a sign. (Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
Tournament Office Support:Assists the tournament office operations two weeks prior to the tournament which involves assembling packets, packages, goody bags, Pro-Am materials etc. Just prior to the tournament the committee is responsible for the sorting of volunteer uniforms and credentials, and the distribution of them. A tournament uniform is NOT required for this volunteer activity. However, if you want to volunteer on location during the actual tournament in another capacity, you will need to purchase a uniform. (All shifts Pre-tournament)
Traffic & Parking:Responsible for directing player parking at the Clubhouse and offsite parking lots. Volunteers will also be directing Volunteers and spectators to parking locations.(Shifts Monday - Sunday)
Volunteer Headquarters: Volunteers in this committee are responsible for the overall operation of the volunteer HQ, including volunteer check-in, uniform management, answering questions, and making sure all assignments are covered. They will also be responsible for the restocking of snacks and beverages for volunteers and caddies. (Shifts Monday-Sunday)
Walking Scorers: Volunteers in this committee are responsible for walking 18 holes inside the ropes with a specific pairing group. Volunteers will carry a handheld smart device with PGA TOUR software and input stroke, scoring, and statistical information. Scorers will carry a radio for constant contact with tour staff. This committee is crucially important as each pairing group needs a scorer to keep real-time data for each player. Volunteers must have golf knowledge and training is MANDATORY. (Shifts Thursday-Sunday)
